A rest day today – Limpy Lil (Skye) was happier than me about it, but hopefully her leg will be better quicker if she rests it. I wouldn't ever tell her, but I'm quite fond of her really and don't like to see her hopping about.
Somehow Daisy cleaned herself up enough to get upstairs again last night – she was very pleased with herself. I wouldn't like to think there are double standards at play, but she looked pretty dirty to me...anyway, tonight she's had a bath and is squeaky clean. She really enjoys her bath. Limpy Lil does too, which leaves me in a mucky minority of one. I don't care at all - Jerry says you don't have to be clean to be a good worker, which is just fine by me...
