Oh dear...we've got a problem. It's Skye. It's always Skye...You remember how she's in love with the cat and just stares at it dreamily whenever it comes indoors? Well, now she's got a new pal - a great big slathery labrador that lives on the next farm. Every time she comes past, Skye's wants to be out watching her go and now she's also taken to wandering off down the road to go and see her. Can you believe it? Turn around twice in the middle of a job and Skye's off, pottering down the road. It's a bit easier now Skye has sorted out where this dog lives because at least we know where to find her - before that she could be anywhere. Keeping track of her is like herding cats - Daisy and I take it in turns to keep an eye on her, but Skye knows Daisy is easily distracted...birds flying by, a tasty snack, a nap...pretty much anything really - so she gets away pretty easily.
Anyway, we're not sure her new pal appreciates it's favoured status, but Tinker doesn't seems to mind being stared at a bit less and Daisy and I are just making the most of her good mood - especially Daisy who's been helping herself to some of her food!! Let's hope the little rascal stops before we get grumpy Skye back...
